raw edges

uncertainty - order
holes first, cloth after - cloth first, holes after
raw edges - neat edges
chaos - order

and how does this relate to my life and to what I've just gone through this week?

facing my father's death, and then having him NOT die.  His will to live is very very strong.  His inner spirit conquered death again.

  1. You know I'm an end-of-life doula, and that galvanized will to live is a sight to behold . . . and exhausting to witness. Be kind to yourself. X

  2. It's always fascinating to be given a glimpse of your works in progress. The contrast and inter-relationship of chaos and order are intriguing.

  3. I just love to look at it pinned to the wall. The scale of the white ness, the energy of the marks, and the pale blue sections really feed me right now. I don't know if it will be improved with stitching...but shall see of course. Thanks for your visits.
